Connie and I visited Michigan on June 7, 2003 for the 50th anniversary party for her mom

My favorite photo of me with my "baby" a 1963 Piper Comanche 250-  a true "pilot's airplane" high speed (190-200 miles per hour) and not  very forgiving of mistakes.  When we moved to Pensacola, FL (the Cradle of Naval Aviation) there was not going to be a need for her to take me about anymore.  I sold her to a Delta Captain who loves her as much as I did.  I still miss this beauty.  In thousands of hours in all kinds of aircraft, I never flew a smoother more responsive machine and she kept me on my toes.
